Maria, we know that you are finally at rest in the Father's arms. We rejoice in that, but we also grieve at the loss your death brings.
Oh Sarha, we wish that we could hug and hug you. Just know that we feel honored to have known your sister and that we will be praying for you in the days and weeks to come.
My heart is grieving for you as I imagine your thoughts and feelings at this time. I have had loss, but not of a sister. I am praying that God will comfort you in ways that you will know it's directly from Him and to help you through all the times of doubt ahead. I was reading a few of the hymns in an old book of hymns htat Doug's mom gave us recently and this one caught my eye. Here is part of it: "Over the river faces I see, fair as the morning, looking for me: Free from their sorrow, grief and despair, Waiting and watching patiently there......Brother and sister, gone to that clime, Wait for the others, coming sometime, safe with the angels, whiter thatn snow, Watching for dear ones waiting below....
Looking this way, yes, looking this way; Loved ones are waiting, looking this way; fair as the morning, bright as the day, dear ones in Glory looking this way."
I wept and prayed when I got your email of Maria's death. I even started working on a song for you and her. I am thinking about you. My prayer is that the Lord is so near to you during all of this. Wish we were all there to hug you.
Oh my sweet friend, I am so thankful that God got me to the phone in time yesterday. Hearing your voice and your heart as you shared about Maria was incredible. My heart is grieving with and for you right now. Please know that I have been praying for you all regularly and will continue to bring you before The Throne.
Sweet sisiter in Christ, I can only imagine the range of emotions you're feeling, and I imagine it's often overwhelming. This has been a long battle for you all. I am relieved that Maria is now at peace with her precious savior. I trust He will continue to guide you beside quiet waters, as you reflect on the whirlwind that has been your life these past months. I pray the calmness after the storm will renew your hope in the future He holds. Take care my friend. -Barb B.
I love God and I love life. It is my desire to live passionately and fully alive for Him. I am forever changed by His incredible unchanging, unending and unconditional love for me. The love of Jesus Christ is something that you don't ever want to miss. He offers it freely and generously to all who ask Him. I pray that you come to know this love intimately and that you would be forever changed. May your heart be a journal on which He writes the pages.

I wonder if Maria has met our grandchildren?
